Strawberry Fields – Easter Part III

I gave him one with a stem so it would be easier to hold!

Part of our Easter weekend including picking strawberries. The Little One sat in the dirt and explored strawberries – their color, their smell, their texture, and more importantly their taste. They are soft enough to mash between his gums and too big to choke on. All in all, they were well received by the little one.

Nomming on Noah’s Ark

027

The boys got a Fisher Price Noah’s Ark for Christmas. The Little One got a taste of what appears to be a leopard. Despite appearances, he’s definitely turning out to be another blond!

Local Cuisine

Momma probably should have stopped him, and she did right after this picture, but what a great shot of the Big One tasting the local cuisine!

Messghetti

DSCF4263

The Boy, like many other children, loves his spaghetti. While it normally requires an immediate post-dinner bath, it’s worth seeing the Boy scarf down veggie laden sauce and corn on the cob.

A Birthday Party

Birthday 011  Birthday 021Birthday 034  Birthday 044Birthday 049

Though this post is a month overdue, it’s fun to see how exhausted the Boy was at the end of his second birthday party! Daddy grilled, Momma decorated, Erin chased the Boy, the Boy chased ducks, and all sorts of family friends came to celebrate with us!

It was a lovely day with lovely people and one amazing not-so-little boy.

And Not a Creature was Stirring…

Harper got into Momma's chocolate

Except a small little boy who got into the dark chocolate kisses in Momma’s stocking! That’s okay. Everyone gets to sneak kisses on Christmas!!

Forks A Million

HPIM5577

The Boy LOVES forks. He’s become proficient enough that he insists on having a fork at every meal, and sometimes, more than one. Here, he climbed onto the table while Momma & Daddy were cleaning up, grabbing all the forks he could find, and then slide back into his seat. Who knew silverware could make a boy so happy?

“Why no mother, I have nothing in my mouth. What ever would give you that impression?”
