Playground Palooza

 

 

 

This has been an awkward summer. Excessive heat, followed by excessive water. Next comes classes and work and moving and car problems. Momma and Daddy haven’t been able to orchestrate nearly as many trips to the local park. This trip was well enjoyed.

Playground Focus

 

 

The Big One is exploring a new playground in Charlotte. He ran around, burning off the boundless energy all two year olds have. He is fearless, but knows his boundaries. Momma loves watching him play!

A Visit from Gumbo, Part II

One morning, before Momma went to work, the whole family went to the playground. It was chilly, but not too cold, and Gumbo chased the Big One all around the playground. They rode on slides, climbed fish bone ladders, and by the end of it, Gumbo was just a little worn out :)

Swing Time

 

The Boy is a bit of a swing fanatic. He stays on longer than seems possible (at least, possible without nausea). Swing time is even more fun when Daddy’s being silly!

This was not the Boy sliding. This was the Boy, deliberately climbing onto the bottom of the slide and taking a playground break. Momma always said he was a chill little guy.

Swing Swing

The Boy may very well be contender to ride the rides with his Daddy that Momma won’t (I’m looking at you, Millennium Force). He giggled as Momma pushed him higher and higher and giggled harder if Momma caught him at the top, and then let him go. Momma thinks the way he grips the swing is too adorable.
